Tucked away in the Methow River Valley is Mazama: a tiny, unassuming town on the Eastern slopes of the North Cascades that’s home to some of the world’s longest Nordic ski trails and premier outdoor recreation.
No matter the time of year, there’s always something to do to keep your adrenaline pumping—from cross-country skiing, fat tire biking, and heliskiing, to hiking, hunting, horseback riding, and more!
Designed by award-winning architects, Base Camp 49 features four luxury cabins within walking distance of the Methow River and Mazama trail system.
With architectural designs receiving honors from the American Institute of Architects, Base Camp 49 was built to blend with the natural landscape. Offering both function and form, each casita comes with premium amenities such as radiant heated floors and a private covered patio.
Base Camp 49’s four casitas are available for short-term rentals and can be reserved individually or as a group. Discounts are available for longer stays during our non-peak season (October-November and late March through mid-May). Please inquire for information and rates for long-term stays.
We were honored to be featured by Houzz when we built our Mazama home—which has now expanded to include the rental cabins and an event venue known as Base Camp 49. Watch the video below to discover how this dream began...
