Base Camp 49 offers a central community courtyard and outdoor covered pavilion which is a perfect place for an outdoor wedding. There is additional indoor space just a few minutes walk away at the Inn at Mazama.

Each unit sleeps 6 guests for a total of 24 overnight guests. You may host up to 75 guests for on-site ceremonies until 10:30pm.

An indoor reception can be held at The Clubhouse located at The Inn at Mazama, which is a short car ride or 5-minute walk from Base Camp 49. The Clubhouse accommodates up to 100 guests.
All of our casitas are single-story with wide hallways and concrete floors. Several of our casitas allow the ability to get within 10 feet of the concrete entryway. Please inquire for specific needs.
May to November, from Seattle and the westside, you can drive over the scenic North Cascade Highway along State Route 20 and Washington Pass (check WSDOT for closures). Alternate and winter routes from Seattle are via I90, Snoqualmie Pass and Bluett Pass, or via Highway 2 over Stevens Pass (check WSDOT for driving conditions). Combine these routes and you have the scenic Cascade Loop. The nearest major airports are Spokane International Airport at 180 miles (year-round) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (190 miles in summer / 260 miles in winter). Regional flights are also available at Pangborn Memorial Airport in Wenatchee located 102 miles away.

Yes, Methow Motion provides a private car service throughout the Methow Valley.
We are surrounded by the majestic Cascade Mountains, serene pastoral vistas, and the babbling Methow River. Basecamp 49 maintains a luscious green grass courtyard dotted with our Pacific Northwest Modern casitas, two outdoor group fire pits, and individual propane fire pits for each casita.
Onsite babysitting services and ski waxing are available. Please inquire at time of booking for more information.
There are outdoor outlets for any event needs such as outside lights , DJ, sound system etc.
We recommend wedding hosts book our venue either Wednesday through Sunday or Thursday to Sunday to accommodate set up with outside vendors, rehearsal festivities, wedding party events, and post celebration activities. We block out the best Methow Valley wedding weekends in advance and are happy to make recommendations to fit your needs. We only book one wedding per week.

Yes, we have a pavilion that works great for a DJ or band—complete with power outlets. The courtyard is a perfect place to bring in a dance floor—or skip the floor and boogie right on the grass!
Vendors may access the property at 10am on the day of your arrival. We recommend Wednesday or Thursday for this to maximize the availability for vendors to accommodate your needs.
